In addition to the exhibition in MOCA Taipei, we also participated in the following activities:
What is the Foundation of Social Change? in Howl Space (Tainan), on 3 May, from 3-11pm – We spoke on Artistic Practice in Singapore’s Renaissance and hosted a ghost story telling event.
Dialogue as Method in MOCA Taipei, on 17 May, from 10am-5.30pm – We participated in a dialogue session, with Chen-Wei Lin and Je-Yu Li, entitled The Ethics of Listening to the Deceased: Bukit Brown Cemetery x Liuzhangli Mass Grave.
There’s one more dialogue session coming up on 12 Jun, entitled The Politics of Remembering in Singapore vs The Aesthetics of Oblivion in Taiwan, with Dr Liew Kai Khiun and Fang-Tze Hsu. Do catch it if you can!

M.E.L.T.ING Project is a one-year conversation and exhibition project, curated by Yves Chun-Ta Chiu. We are showing Bukit Brown Index in the exhibition which is currently taking place in MOCA Taipei (15 May – 28 June). More info on the exhibition here.

A part of our artwork The Bukit Brown Index is on show in Unearthed, the first group exhibition in Singapore Art Museum under the helm of new Director Susie Lingham.
Unearthed seeks to investigate our relationship with Earth and the natural world, and charts SAM’s new direction in encompassing and presenting projects and practices where art intersects with other disciplines and modalities. Other artists in the exhibition include Lucy Davis, Debbie Ding, Isabelle Desjeux, Ho Tzu Nyen, and Robert Zhao Renhui.
It’s free admission for Singaporeans and PRs; from 21 March to 6 July 2014.
