Fukuoka Really Really Free Market was commissioned by The 4th Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2009: “Live and Let Live: Creators of Tomorrow”.

Working with students from Kyushu University and volunteers over several months, we created ‘free zones’ around Fukuoka, where the local community as well as visitors are encouraged to share objects and services for free.

In addition to the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, FRRFM took place
in 6 other spaces around Fukuoka.
